Rolled to Order

Re-Steel rolls Invar and other alloy plates to order. Each plate can be custom rolled on demand to the exact geometry needed to comply with the most technically demanding industry standards. With our experienced staff at the helm, precision is guaranteed. Re-Steel’s expertise in rolling plates minimizes waste for complex and demanding projects, and the money saved through our process is reflected in our pricing. The design engineers, estimators and procurement personnel who use our products achieve better yields to help reduce cost of material because of this careful sizing.

Re-Steel purchases semi finished slabs and ingots from qualified specialty steel producers and utilizes excess rolling mill capacity to convert the reheated slabs into finished plate. Re-Steel has the ability to roll plate up to 10″ (254 mm) with a max width of 120″ (3 m) and max length of 1,000″ (25 m).

Cutting

Re-Steel has the equipment and craftsmen to cut Invar and other specially alloys to spec. This in-house capability saves our customers time and production costs. Customers choose what method they prefer when processing material, including waterjet cutting, plasma burning, and laser cutting.

Saw Cutting

Saw cutting utilizes a reciprocating or turning saw blade. The material cut is fixed to a work surface while the saw is moved through it. Saw cutting is commonly used to cut extruded shapes, such as angles, bars, channels, pipes, rods, and tubes.

Waterjet Cutting

Waterjet can cut (or erode) through virtually any known material, making it one of the most versatile processes available – and a superior choice for cutting Invar and other specialty alloys. Precise waterjet profiling capable of cutting up to 8″ material.

Quality Control

Re-Steel prides itself in taking the extra steps to assure your product is manufactured and delivered with precision.

We supply Invar that has an established strict chemical requirement as set forth by Boeing, with chemical requirements that feature smaller allowable levels of sulfur and phosphorus to enhance material weldability.

Re-Steel’s standards are based off of the American National Standard ANSI/ISOI/ASQ Q9000 – 2000 Quality Management Systems. We have established, documented and implemented a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with international standards. The system is maintained and continually improved throughout the use of the quality policy, objectives, audit results, analysis of data, correction and preventative action and management review.

Logistics

Poised to deliver worldwide, Re-Steel stocks several million pounds of nickel alloy plate products available for immediate delivery – across the globe. Re-Steel regularly ships to North America, Europe and Asia, and has expertise to handle international shipments in an economical and timely manner, focusing on cost effective logistics for shipping oversized material.
